Recently, a lot of fashion designers have explored the terrain of work-wear clothing, and many have only succeeded in making women appear like emotionless, mechanical workplace robots in trite skirt suits that look like those worn by the women in Dynasty. Tomas Maier went against this trend and decided to create black leather pant suits, as well as A-line and asymmetrical tunic dresses that were aesthetically pleasing to the female silhouette. He also decided to capture the eyes of viewers with his embellished tops and frills on the collars and shoulders of some dresses. Oddly enough, Maier was inspired by the iridescence found in the wings of beetles to create bags with the similar effect. This collection is ideal for the woman with a desire to stand out against the norm of working clothes that lack creativity and soul.
